Firefox disable lazy loading

Staff member
Lazy loading in theory sounds like a good idea, but in practice it can make threads jerky to view as the images are loaded as they come into view. By removing the lazy loading function from your Firefox browser, you will get a smoother scrolling experience when viewing threads with many images.

To disable lazy load in Firefox follow these steps:
  1. Type about:config in the Firefox address bar.
  2. Click on the Accept the Risk and Continue button when the warning page is displayed.
  3. In the top search bar, enter dom.image-lazy-loading.enabled.
  4. Toggle the preference to false.
